Description
Syagrus campylospatha is a deeply dwarfed feather palm that develops a subterranean or very short, clustering trunk system. The compact canopy is composed of highly stiff, erect pinnate leaves measuring roughly 1.5 m (5 ft) in length. These fronds display a glaucous silver-blue or pale grey-green coloration, characterized by narrow, steeply angled leaflets. As a monoecious species, it produces small inflorescences that eventually yield small, yellowish, ellipsoid drupes.
